a porcelain print on a wooden trinket box from the now gone Virginia Metalcrafters

A piece from the 90's that was made by the Virginia Metal Crafter company. It went out of business in 2006 but was making metal crafts for ships and home decor for centuries prior. The building is still there as a registered historical place and there are shops and a brewery inside now. A beautiful hand-crafted box with velvet like inside and a porcelain print on the cover make it a nautical gem. The print came from a 1970 work that is common in the ship prints you see today. It is the USS Revenue Jefferson from the 1800's.
